100 Friends

100 Friends is a grassroots 501(c)3 charity organization (tax ID # 26-0256270) that provides food/nutrition, clothing, education, healthcare, income-generation, housing, and community development services and programs to Asia’s most vulnerable and underserved populations. Founded in 1989 by Marc Gold, 100 Friends has a unique approach to assisting the needy in developing countries: We work with local partners who, through widespread community outreach, identify impoverished individuals or families not receiving assistance from other organizations. The focus is on delivering funds and resources directly into the hands of those who need the most support –- namely, children, single mothers, impoverished families, the elderly, and individuals with disabilities. Thousands of people across India, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Tibet, Nepal, Indonesia, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, the Philippines, Myanmar, and other countries have received life-changing and life-saving assistance through 100 Friends.
