We are a group of New Zealand business people with a strong commitment to, and concern for, our country’s future. We want to improve the New Zealand economy and our environment and we believe that the two are not mutually exclusive. We believe a once-in-a-generation opportunity exists for New Zealanders to transform our economy by gaining early-mover status in the emergent “clean technology” market (clean agriculture, clean industry, clean energy, clean transport and clean environment). Specifically, we are urging the Government to set up a joint government and business taskforce, comprised of our best collective brains and those of a few international experts. This group would identify the best opportunities and the most efficient ways to capitalise on them via a clean technology strategy for New Zealand.
