Through 13C Consulting Nick Moore assists charities, social enterprises and businesses to achieve growth, build sustainability and maximise their impact through more effective strategic planning, management and governance. Clients range from local voluntary bodies to national charities; from start-ups to those long-established. Projects include production of multi-year strategic plans and business/fundraising plans, obtaining grant funding, place-based work replicating models in new locations and creation, registration and initial strategies for new charities. With 15 years in commercial business planning and customer-facing roles preceding 10 years as a senior charity leader, Nick brings a dynamic combination of skills, experiences and learning, underpinned by his MA in Charity Management. Nick is passionate about working alongside organisations, enabling them to develop and improve their performance and helping them to focus afresh on fulfilling their purpose. His strengths include the effective use of people, financial and property resources to achieve objectives and in exercising entrepreneurship to deliver social change. Nick combines advice and training on governance and structure with strategic planning and income generation, informed by his role as an Associate Lecturer in Charity Management at St Mary's University, Twickenham. He sees the increased blurring of the lines between charities, social enterprise and responsible businesses as an incredible opportunity for organisations in all sectors to explore new approaches to securing income and maximising the successful pursuit of mission. Nick undertakes strategic trustee/director roles in three vastly different not-for-profits enabling him to bring insights and wisdom from both professional and non-executive viewpoints. 13C Consulting is a Business for Good. The company prioritises ethical suppliers, such as search engine Ecosia. At least 10% of its monthly income is donated to charities.
