Beginning its journey in 2009 under the leadership of John Barker, the company initially utilized internal capital for asset acquisition. In 2018, it expanded its horizons by forming its first outside Limited Partnership equity partnership. Since then, 180 Properties Co. has continued to acquire assets independently and in collaboration with limited partnership (LP) associates, successfully transacting on over $1 billion in A, B, and C class multifamily communities.
