256 Youth Platform is a youth empowerment organisation, founded in 2013 in Iganga Municipality of Eastern Uganda. We welcome and embrace all youth in Uganda regardless of tribe, gender, religion or education level. We are a non-profit, non-political, voluntary platform which mobilises, empowers and engages youth in Uganda, in order to address the issues facing both the local and global community. We tackle global and local poverty and issues, such as gender inequality, through various programs including- Hip-hop and Rap - Reusable Pad Social Enterprise - Boxing and Kickboxing - Sexual and Reproductive Health Education - Carpentry and skill development - Youth Parliament
