3D Casting is specialized in casting design and delivering castings straight from CAD models. We have more than ten years of experience in casting design of different steel, iron and aluminum grades, as well as special expertise in 3D printed sand molds and their design. Our core competence is that we design your product in the most cost-effective way. We use the combination of traditional pattern making and modern 3D printing technology depending on the characteristics of your product and what is the best way to produce it. This combination of traditional pattern making and 3D printed molds fits perfectly into the production lines of traditional foundries. The product designing is done in-house and the manufacturing is outsourced for the most suitable Finnish foundry according to the desired material, piece and series size. Careful planning has a significant impact on the final result of the casting. We use state-of-the-art simulation software, which enables the study of the casting parameters and eliminates potential failures of the casting process during the design phase. We can also help in the product development and design phase to ensure that your product is designed from the beginning in such a way that the final manufacturing method and series production are taken into account. We can produce individual prototypes and spare parts, small series and even larger batches through our collaborative foundries. We can deliver the castings already painted and machined according to the agreed terms and conditions. We also offer planning and consulting to optimize the castability of the part.
