3rd Sector Skills is a consultancy specialising in the charitable and voluntary sector. Why? Because we’re really experienced in this area. Our principal consultant has been working in this sector for more than 25 years at both a local and national level, so we know what we’re talking about. The reason we get out of bed in the morning is our desire to help charities spend more of their hard-won funds on their charitable objectives and less on running the charity; and we’re good at that. If you work in a charity and are finding life impossible, we can help you make it possible again. If you need an organisational health check, we can help you with that. In fact, if you are a charity with any sort of problem, we can help you fix it. We offer interim management at all levels, including CEO – so we can send someone in to get the job done for you. We offer consultancy, where we’ll send someone along to help you solve your problem, with advice, coaching, mentoring – all that good stuff. We have experience in all areas of charity management – look at the consultancy page for details. We offer training. We have a selection of pre-prepared courses (see the training page), but we can deliver training in whatever you need. This includes training for trustees and volunteers, as well as for staff. So - if you work in the third sector and have a problem, we can help you fix it. And if we don’t have the expertise in-house, then there’s a very good chance that we know someone who does have the expertise, and we’ll put you in touch.
