When we choose to own a horse, pony, donkey or mule we are taking on a responsibility to be good stewards. We must make sound choices in how we will interact with them, care for them and train them. We have made a commitment intentionally or otherwise to do what is best for the animal, putting aside our own emotions and issues to become conscious of what our equine’s needs are. To become the leader that your animals require to be healthy and happy emotionally physically you must make decisions that are best for him/her. I believe following the 3S method of Safety, Sanity & Success will encourage your equine to become the good citizen you want them to be. Not to mention keep you safe, sane and successful! By following the 3S model of equine interaction you will be able to address the core issues vs. the symptoms that your horse is exhibiting, allowing you to really make some changes in his/her behavior. You will learn how the horse thinks and how you need to respond to him. We will take away the “mystery” of the horse and show you how to gain respect and begin the exciting lifelong journey to a true partnership with you horse. 3S-Ranch advocates this model of Safety, Sanity & Success by teaching horses and riders what it means to have conscious, practical, functional and respectful interactions. Chris Vinson will show you the “why of horses” so you can perform the “how to” interact.” This includes ground manners as well as under saddle.
