417 Films Llc

417 Films, LLC was established in Houston, Texas for the express purpose of developing and producing quality PG-13 style motion picture entertainment. It's first project is a film adaptation of the novel, THE ULTIMATE GAME; written by 417 Films' Managing Member Kevin Bakko. Bakko’s first film experience outside the classroom was a month working on location with the 1978 NBC mini-series Greatest Heroes of the Bible. “I learned a lot about what it takes to make a project click, from a ‘behind-the-camera’ perspective. I also had the privilege of working with such late, great talents as John Marley, Nehemiah Persoff and Victor Jory,” said Bakko. “Mr. Marley was instrumental in providing me with guidance on my first screenplay effort.” Bakko wrote his first screenplay Zero Year President later that same year. Hours before the optioning of his screenplay was to be consummated in early 1979, an overreaching Secret Service convinced the producer that the storyline might be a bit “problematic.” (Three years later President Ronald Reagan was shot by John Hinkley.) In 2005 Bakko published his first novel, The Choice; a look at intergalactic politics and the near destruction of Earth. A repetitive (yet willing) abductee convinces alien leaders to announce their presence to Earth’s populous, and work together to stop a potential man-made Extinction Level Event, rather than just taking him and his family to a safe planet. This will be “Project 2” for 417 Films, LLC.
