4Girls, the largest social network for young women and girls in Israel, offers a platform to post anonymously and receive peer-to-peer and professional support, aiming to strengthen self confidence and personal growth. By providing an open, safe, and creative atmosphere, 4Girls encourages teenage girls to tap into their power to lead and personally impact others. Since its establishment, 4Girls has united over teenage girls, who decide on and generate all of the content, ranging from beauty and fashion to mental health and body image. 4Girls teams with volunteer experts from leading nonprofits to provide free professional guidance regarding self-image, sexuality in first relationships, eating disorders, and more. The team, composed of editors, gender professionals, educators, and social workers, is mainly female, ensuring a full understanding of the target audience. In 2019, 4Girls Ltd. received recognition from the Israeli Government through a grant from the Israel Innovation Authority to develop Moodnight by 4Girls, an AI software platform that detects and ranks mental distress based on Machine Learning and NLP. Low levels of distress are referred to peer-to-peer support, medium to mental health professionals, and high to emergency services. Additionally, 4Girls Ltd. collaborated with the Israeli Council for Youth Organizations to launch Youth @nline, an innovative program which educates and encourages young adults to provide online advice in response to public low distress posts. The initiative, supported by MoodKnight technology, was declared the most potentially impactful program for girls at the Advisers for the Advancement of Women 2019 Conference.
