59° North - a stunning, remote, elevated croft cottage in Sanday, Orkney. Muckle, a 200 year old croft cottage is available as a self catering cottage, sleeping 2 adults in complete luxury. Featuring a king sized bed, fresh cotton linen and towels, large high spec kitchen with built in appliances & dining area, beautiful soft furnishings throughout, underfloor heating, new bathroom & shower, large conservatory with 270 degree views out to sea. In 2020 we will be building three geodesic domes, all with en-suite facilities, luxury kitchens and log burning stoves. There are fully insulated, so are perfect for watching the northern lights in the winter and the midnight sun in the summer. Our wood fired artisan pizza barn, bake house, gallery space and cooking school will also be constructed during 2020 and will provide the perfect setting for healthy, freshly cooked lunches, snacks and dinners for our guests and local islanders. It will also provide us the space to open a gallery and cooking school. Selling local crafts and artwork and providing cinema nights, pudding clubs, party nights and also open our frozen meal business,"The Orkney Freezer".
