This is such an exciting- and perilous- time to be alive Never has there been easier access to the wisdom of the ages and our global knowledge on how to lead a better life. At the same time there have never been so many people searching for a spirituality connecting us to each other and to all of life. Never been so many incidences of people rising up demanding freedom and democracy. We can also see all of the counter movements: those trying to exploit out thirst for wisdom by promising instant transformation in just one hour, one weekend or for a payment. We see religious leaders trying to scare their devotees into obeying their dogma by claiming all those outside their faith are the enemies and damned to hell. We see the consolidation of power and wealth into the hands of the richest elite in partnership with authoritarian governments and global corporations. Now comes 5Journeys. Our nonprofit has created a systematic year-long program to transform your life, relationships and career and to do so in the community of small groups; while doing so we access the energy from the spirituality we call the Great Connection. The Great Connection is the drive in humanity that compels us to love and take care of each other and all of life on earth. On this 5Journeys path, we join together in solidarity to protect all life on Earth; as we build our capacity in 5Journeys, we will take powerful action for social justice, human rights, restoring nature and mobilizing for democracy. This leads us to living the “Connected Life” to its fullest.
