61 North Consulting LLC (formerly North Wind Consulting LLC) was formed in early 2009 to meet the growing need for experienced marine mammal observers in Alaska. We have worked with several Alaskan companies, including Manson Construction, Pacific Pile and Marine, Granite Construction, Duwamish Services, Furie Operating Alaska, GCI/Unicom, Weldin Construction, QAP, West Construction, Northern Exploration Services, Apache Alaska, HDR Alaska, and CIRI. We've completed over field hours, placing shore-based and vessel-based observers throughout Alaska. We have staff experienced in aerial and vessel-based observation. Also, several of our techs have extensive experience in fisheries, wetlands, wildlife, and botanical data collection.
