8TTE stands for All Texashold'em Tournament Events. The concept will be to provide tournaments based on the Poker game of Texas Hold'Em. Texas Hold'Em is a community Poker game where players receive two cards and five cards are dealt in the middle which are shared. The objective of the game is to use any combination of the 7 cards (2 from your hand and the 5 in the middle) to make the best 5 card Poker hand possible. A poker tournament is an organised competition in which many participants play against each other with the ‘last man standing’ being declared the winner. The participants compete in limited groups, usually eight to ten players per table and all start with an equal amount in poker chips. Players continue to participate until all his / her chips are gone. As players are eliminated tables are consolidated. To ensure the event concludes within a set time frame (usually 3 hours), minimum bets are raised incrementally as the tournament plays on. This forces players to bet and ensures a level of ‘knockout’ activity to ultimately find a winner. The showdown on the final table occurs between the last remaining two players with the ultimate winner being crowned the event’s tournament champion and prize winner. This will be provided to venues throughout Asia who will pay on a per head basis for this service to provided to their customers.
