900M in two words: We are a public-interest NGO whose objective is to increase the number of actors capable of revitalizing 900 million hectares of degraded land. Why this name? Because the British scientist Thomas Crowther claims that by restoring 900 million hectares of forest it is possible to cushion the undesirable effects of climate change. Our mission To increase the forest area today by revitalizing degraded land (wastelands, quarries, embankments, artificialized soils). ⌚ The challenge To act quickly using proven methods. In practical terms, how do we do it? By massively training as many citizens as possible in innovative and climate-resilient reforestation methods. Hence our FREE and FUN online TRAINING open to all (beginners and experienced). Each trained citizen will be able to create their own local business or association to get to work. If only 12% of the world's population restores a forest on an area of 100m x 100m, then the goal can be achieved!
