A Chance For Therapy

A Chance for Therapy, Inc.(DBA Act4Me), the only non-profit working to increase access to speech, occupational, and physical therapy and special needs’ supplies for children with with neurological and/or genetic disorders and developmental delays in Miami-Dade and Broward County. The Act4Me Therapy Grants Program is a comprehensive, yearlong program for both the children and the families. Our project is specifically for families who do not qualify for Medicaid or other government assistance, both of which offer adequate healthcare coverage. Instead, we seek to serve un-/under-insured children. Our program cycle is open all year, allowing families to apply as soon as the child receives a diagnosis. We have partnered with the best therapy centers and hospitals. Some of our community partners include: Jackson Memorial Health, CCDH, UM Card, Parent to Parent, The Arc, SPEC Miami, Speech Perfect, Pediatric Therapy Center, Kidnetics, Kendall Speech and Language, Alfano Center, International Rehab Professionals, On the Go Therapy, Bio Networks, Advance Therapy Works, Inc, Kids Therapy Connection, Kidz Connection, CTR for Pediatric Therapy, D&D Psych, Integrated Children’s Therapy, B&V Therapy Professionals Association, Carpe Diem, Therapy by Design, Claudia Coron, and the Comprehensive Pediatric Therapy Center.
