CHRIS AMBRAISSE BOSTON, DESIGNER Deconstructing A&K Classics clothing means removing the stitches, rethinking ready-to-wear to adapt it to both disabled and able-bodied people. A&K Classics sewing workshops succeed through original creations, like a zipper top or a shoulder strap cutter top to make it beautiful, without cutting functionality. Sweaters can be opened on the top of the arms, from the wrist to the shoulder. Chris Ambraisse's eye and sensitivity leave nothing to chance. Pockets, for example, which are difficult to access in a sitting position, are placed on the top garments,"like a kangaroo pocket". Ergonomics is there, the lines are playful and so is elegance.
