A-Membranes

We offer chemical affinity based membrane separation technology. Our proprietary technology adds organic surface modifications to ceramic membranes. The changed surface will interact with the filtered products and this effect can be tailored to the needs of your process to attract wanted molecules and accelerate them through the membrane. Or to repel unwanted products so they don't block the membrane pores (anti-fouling). This way we create unique tailor-made solutions for your separations, purifications and fractionations. A-membranes is a spin-off of the Flemish Institute for Technological Research (VITO) and the University of Antwerp.
