A Plus Systems began with a young entrepreneur who started by troubleshooting computers and creating church programs for free. Driven by a passion for technology, he taught himself basic web development through SuperSimpleDev on YouTube, building on the knowledge he gained from Computer Applied Technology in high school. In 2022, the founder noticed how difficult it was for local businesses to be found on Google. This realization inspired him to help these businesses improve their online presence. A Plus Systems, initially known as CIBS, started operations by creating websites for small businesses in Nelspruit at no cost. This initiative helped local businesses establish an online presence. By 2023, the company secured its first paying clients, enabling these businesses to leverage the internet for growth. In 2024, A Plus Systems began collaborating with young freelancers to enhance their skills and expand the company’s capabilities. This period marked the exploration of various IT products, including web applications and AI chatbots. Today, A Plus Systems continues its steady evolution, aiming to establish itself as an innovative African startup.
