A3Ventures is the innovation lab and capital investment arm of Northern California, Nevada & Utah (NCNU). Our mission is to develop groundbreaking solutions that serve communities in face of disruption. Our diverse team of designers, product managers, engineers, analysts, researchers and strategists work to prototype solutions and bring them to market. Our venture capital arm invests directly in innovative startups whose products that can benefit the communities we serve. In April 2017 we launched our first product, GIG Car Share — the Bay Area's first hybrid-electric, one-way car share. We are a proud investor in RapidSOS, a breakthrough technology that solves the 911 mobile location problem. Our thesis & opportunity: Technology is only as advanced as its ability to advance people. Today, disruptive forces and megatrends are rapidly changing our world. The Internet of things, collaborative consumption, and increasingly autonomous vehicles will continue to foster disruptive business models and new entrants that will significantly change consumer behavior and traditional value propositions. However, these forces also provide society with a tremendous opportunity for radical innovation and growth.
