Sinds 1928 staat er een klein pompgebouwtje van de voormalige Leeuwarder Waterleiding Maatschappij in Goutum. Met daaromheen een enorm stuk grond, onder de rook van Leeuwarden. Dit pompgebouw, ook wel aanjaagstation stond al jaren leeg en bleek de perfecte locatie te zijn voor het nieuwe kantoor van de architect Nynke-Rixt Jukema.
