AAPG UPN SC (American Association of Petroleum Geologists) the University of Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran” Yogyakarta Student Chapter is an organization for prospective geologists and geophysicists who want to explore the ability and the desire to dig deeper in the field of oil and gas industry, particularly in the scope of UPN, which provides a creative, innovative, and casual environment of geology and geophysics engineering students who wish to have the skill that steps ahead among other students, by holding series of activities that support the internal and external to progress, including short course, guest lecture, seminar, discussion forum, field trips, and workshop. AAPG UPN SC was established on 5 June by Roy Lesmana and team, under the advisory of Muhammad Ocky Bayu Nugroho, S.T, M.Eng as Faculty Advisor until now. AAPG UPN-SC office is located on the 3rd Floor of the Geological Engineering Building, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional "Veteran" Yogyakarta located in Jl. SWK Jl. Ring Road Utara No.104, Ngropoh, Condongcatur, Depok, Sleman, Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta 55283. Currently, since its establishment, AAPG UPN-SC has received various awards, especially the Outstanding Award and the L - Austin Week Grant Award. With 60 active members, and more than 300 graduated members who serve in 7 different divisions, namely Xcom (Management Board), Events, Fieldtrips, Research and Development (RnD), Public Relations (PR), Information and Technology (IT), and Human Resources Development (HRD).
