AASE is one of very few (if not the only) research houses to provide insights into the financial markets and global economies by applying the Austrian school analysis. While most research these days focuses on what central banks say, we focus on what they are actually doing in order to provide you, our reader, with an objective analysis and subsequent implications for the markets. The research that AASE provides places the client in a unique position to take advantage of AASE insights.(Our way of thinking is based on the ideas of the Austrian School of Economics as championed by Carl Menger and Ludwig von Mises). Recent events (GFC, Europe) have illustrated to us the limitations of conventional economic wisdom and have served to vindicate the Austrian analytical perspective, as the correct approach. Dr Frank Shostak, the founder of AASE, has a long good track record of strategic calls. For example, alerting his clients of the 1987 crash and more recently the GFC crisis early on. Dr. Shostak was also one of the very few economists to call the S & P500 rally which emerged in early 2009. We apply unique monetary analysis to asset allocation in order to identify absolute and relative performances of asset classes. We cater to ad-hoc requests from our customers in order to tailor our services to meet ongoing needs.
