Aass Foundation

ANJUMAN AAS Foundation (AAF) is a nonprofit, on political and nongovernmental organization, founded in and registered in 2007 under the Society act 1860. The organization was started in District Sahiwal, a district of Punjab; by a group of 7 members who wanted to contribute to improve the overall condition of area starting from Punjab to other Provinces of Pakistan. The idea behind the establishment of ANJUMAN AAS Foundation (AAF) was to improve the living condition of common man who is living in vulnerability due to having no access to resources and opportunities. AAF believes that in a world filled with rich resources and opportunities, poverty and vulnerability is not inevitable. In Pakistan, like other developing or underdeveloped countries of world, a common man has no or limited access to quality public services in terms of Health, Education, Income Generation Activities, Access to basic necessities of life like Clean drinking water, Clean environment and Safety. Since AAF is engaged in different community development and sensitization projects on self-help basis, members support and local donors in district Sahiwal. In 2013 the board of AAF conducted a meeting and decided to increase the scope and geographical focus of the organization to other parts of Punjab and AJK.
