ABACI was formed in 1996 to provide business application consulting and system design for a wide range of business customers. By dealing with clients in many business areas, the staff has developed the strong analytical skills necessary to quickly understand a business problem in order to design quality database solutions at a competitive price. Since 1998 ABACI has participated in the takeover and administration of several Texas insurance company receiverships as a consultant to the Special Deputy Receiver appointed by the Texas Department of Insurance in all areas related to IT infrastructure, business systems and data. Typical tasks include: Data and application analysis,Operating environment and network security,Data archiving and conversion,Data analysis and reporting, and Hardware inventory. Through receivership projects, ABACI has been exposed to many computer platforms and database structures. Application Development - In addition to receivership responsibilities, ABACI has designed systems in a variety of business areas. We currently use ASP.NET 4.0 and AJAX as our web development tools. The staff has extensive experience with both Visual Basic and MSAccess and has developed primarily for the SQL Server database environment. Although we are constantly reviewing technological advances, we evaluate them in terms of client requirements and budgets.
