Abba Silica

Abba Silica has been formed to exclusively supply quality silica sand products to the Abba Glass Manufacturing Factories in Namibia. Abba Silica is becoming one of the world's leading mining for the industrial sands used in the glass, oil and gas industry, and in a wide range of industrial applications with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tonnes for the exclusive supplying of silica sand to Abba Glass and exports the surplus to the world's markets. Abba Silica seeks to become one the world's best and largest producers of industrial sands such as- Silica sand - Frac sands - Glass sands - Filter sands - Foundry sands - Sports and Horticultural sands - Equestrian sands All these different types of sands from the same site in Oshikango, Namibia. Founded in 2015 as Groot Silica Mining (Pty) Ltd, the company is duly registered and incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Namibia under registration number 2016/0399. Abba Silica (Pty) Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Abba Industries.
