SERVICES PROVIDED o Personal Care Assistant (PCA) PCAs perform personal care services to clients unable to live independently in their community without assistance, including ADLs, grooming/personal hygiene, light cleaning, cooking, etc. They also engage clients in activities such as reading, talking, community support, etc. o Homemaking/Home Management Services Homemaking/Home Management Services provide assistance to people who are unable to perform day-to-day household duties, such as light housekeeping, laundry, limited personal care, grocery shopping, meal preparation, etc. o Individual Community Living Support (ICLS) ICLS providers support clients who need reminders, cues, intermittent/moderate supervision, or physical assistance to remain in their own homes. Services include active cognitive support, ADLs, household management, health, safety and wellness, and community engagement. o Respite Care Respite Care is a short-term care service provided in the absence or need for relief of family members or primary caregivers. Respite care can be provided in-home or out-of-home. o Personal Support Services/Individualized Home Support without Training Personal Support Services are provided in the client's home to achieve their full potential, to increase independence, and to meet community inclusion goals. Services include assisting with ADLs, participation in community activities, etc. o Companion/Night Supervision Services Companions cover services that help a person work towards a therapeutic or community integration goal. Night supervision provides overnight assistance and monitoring in the person's own home.
