I’m Abbey Koplovitz, an award-winning interior designer and the founder of AbbeyK, a residential interior design studio serving the Boston area and the North Shore. I work with clients who want a home that feels personal, livable, and right for the way they live — but don’t have the time, skills, or energy to manage design decisions and a renovation project themselves. My role is to listen, guide, and help clients make thoughtful choices that lead to homes that feel beautiful, functional, and easy to live in. There is no single “AbbeyK look.” I design a wide range of homes — from traditional and transitional to modern and coastal — always guided by the client, the architecture, and how people actually live in their space. I trained as a fine artist, and that background shows in my work — particularly in how I use color, texture, and pattern. I pair that creative side with practical planning, organization, and hands-on project management so that good ideas actually get executed well. My work has been featured on This Old House, in print publications, and on Houzz. Projects range from full-home renovations and additions to kitchens, bathrooms, decorating, and thoughtful updates over time. At the core of my practice are clear communication, honesty, and respect for the people I work with — and a belief that good design should make everyday life better.
