At Abejitas we bring together these two powerfully healing foods in a new ways to create an amazing tasting chocolate bar that unites mind, body, and soul. Abejitas LLC was founded by Nathaniel T Hughes in 2017 when he found a way to use pure pure organic cacao, cocoa butter, and raw honey to make one of the healthiest, invigorating organic chocolate bars on the market. However, at Abejitas our vision goes much deeper than producing great healthy chocolate products: We help protect honey bees through the use of organic, single-origin BeeSeasonal honey harvested from the edges of the Brazilian Rainforest and we picked Zorzal organic cacao from the Dominican Republic not just for its bold, superb, unique fruity flavor, but also because the land it protects is home to one of the biggest overwintering places of the vulnerable bird called the Bicknell's thrush For us, it's a wonderful feeling to know that everytime we sell a chocolate bar we're not only giving people healthier chocolate, but we're one step closer to saving the honey bees and ensuring the beautiful song of the Bicknell's thrush will continue.
