Abela Publishing

Abela Publishing has been established as a Social Enterprise. By this we mean we donate 33% of our profit to charities in the UK and abroad. To this end we are members of the UK's Social Enterprise Coalition (SEC). In the main we publish new and old Fairytales, Folklore, Myths and Legends from around the World, but do not limit ourselves to this genre. We publish between 25 and 100 titles per annum. All our books have valid ISBNs and are available in most online bookstores around the world including Amazon, W H Smith, Blackwells, Waterstones, ABE Books and more. Books can also be viewed and ordered online via the Abela website and at Charities we support can be viewed at All books are printed brand new and shipped "Hot off the press" direct to our customers. In order to reduce shipping costs and also minimise our carbon footprint we operate a distributed printing model. Books desined for North and South American customers are printed and shipped from Tennessee or Philadelphia on the US mainland. Books destined for UK and European customers are printed and shipped from the UK or France. Printing and shipping from Australia will be online from July 2011 to serve our customers in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific.
