Indian poetry & Marathi folklore along with Indo - Western music is what folk fusion band 'Abhanga Repost' is all about. One may find thought provoking revolutionary poetries by Sant Tukaram, Dnyaneshwar, Chokhamela, Eknath, Tukdoji, etc. to which the band sets a traditional & non-conventional theme to their sound. The Band first rose to fame in 2016, when their Jam Performance Video of Pundalik Varde went Viral on Social Media. They were offered Collaborations with 9x Media for 9xJhakaas, Lokmat, Maharashtra Times, etc followed by Newsroom Interviews at ABP Majha, TV9Marathi & News18 Network. They were also featured in Midday, Radio & Music, Indian Express, Scroll.in, Hindustan Times, Deccan Chronicle, The Hindu and many such Reputed Publications. The Band has made Musical Collaboration with Bhartiya Digital Party(BhaDiPa) & ArtistAloud.com for their Music Releases. The Band was awarded as the Top 5 "Best Folk & Best Mix" Bands in India. Till now the Band has performed over 350 Live Shows including the Prominent Festivals like Kalaghoda Festival, Prithvi Festival, Bhimtadi Jatra, RadioCity Freedom Awards, Smule Mirchi Marathi Awards, Times Sanskruti Festival to name a few.
