Ability Training Services

Ability Training Services is an Oregon and Minnesota based company that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to attain their goals of independence. Ability Training Services (ATS) works with individuals to use their unique abilities to the benefit of their communities, families, and themselves. The ATS mission is to help individuals work toward a healthy independent lifestyle, specifically individuals with developmental disabilities. ATS supports that mission by offering encouragement, motivation, and the tools necessary for success to everyone who wants to grow. ATS provides interesting, fun and educational experiences in both large and small groups every month. You choose which days you want to attend based on your interests, abilities, goals and schedule. If you meet someone you really like in the ATS group, we can help you build that friendship in a smaller group setting. If there is a goal you want to work on individually, we can create a schedule to work one on one with you whenever it works best for both of you. ATS is a collaborative group of coaches, teachers, and mentors who want to see individuals succeed and reach the greatest independence possible. In Oregon, ATS collaborates with other Medicaid Agencies in The Washington County Network to expand its social learning opportunities and create a vibrant community of support. ATS is also an active member of the Oregon Association of Provider Agencies which advocates for the interests and needs of Oregonian’s who experience I/DD. In Minnesota, ATS has begun to operate within the Consumer-Directed Community Supports, or CDCS. With this exciting waiver option, you have more choice and responsibility for your services and supports. ATS offers non-traditional, community-living based services that get you out into the world: working, residing, and socializing.
