ABIO is a Chilean company created to solve the need of multiple industrial sectors concerning the valorization of the natural resources used in their processes, as well as to offer innovative solutions for the development of new processes and businesses that produce technologies and/or products with commercial value. To achieve this, we provide support in various areas such as Process Engineering, R&D, and Physicochemical Analysis. Additionally, ABIO works as a sales representative of raw materials for the food industry. ABIO's team is formed by a transversal group of engineers and scientists with experience confirmed by the participation in multiple projects, businesses, and invention patents in the area of engineering, food, and life sciences. ABIO is an active member of the Chilean Association of Biotechnology Companies (ASEMBIO), and the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Valparaiso (CRCP). ABIO's business model focuses on the development of technological solutions in the field of process engineering, and the development of conceptual and basic engineering studies of projects, generally associated but not limited to the extraction and purification of bioactive compounds from natural resources. ABIO also focuses on the commercialization of food ingredients and services associated with the food industry. ABIO is especially interested in providing solutions for disposal, treatment or valorization of natural resources from aquaculture, agriculture, and agro and forest industries for their better use and sustainability. ABIO's core business also includes the commercialization of fats and oils and natural extracts for the food and feed market.
