Above Beyond Care (ABC) has been established to provide support for young people between the ages of 16 – 18. We support placing authorities in achieving good outcomes for young people to enable them to acquire practical living skills measured under the outcome groups set out under the Every Child Matters framework. We truly believe that every child matters and we are passionately committed to improving the life chances of some of the most vulnerable children. We are committed to ensuring that our units have the right quality of staff, services and resources in place to meet the needs of the young people placed and to enable us to address our priorities and to work effectively. We are ready to deliver a quality service today and we are prepared to respond proactively to future needs. ABC offers 24 hour support to individual young people. The aim of the service is to provide a safe and homely environment that promotes empowerment, independence and choice, whilst enhancing individual’s daily living skills, enabling opportunities to move on to a unsupported setting where possible.
