Absalon Project

Absalon Project offers solutions and services to governments and private initiatives to introduce the Danish Mortgage Model in their country. The Danish Mortgage Model has proven it's sustainability througout many crises and offers affordable, flexible and transparent mortgages to homeowners and secure investment opportunies for investors. Absalon Project is a Joint venture between affiliates of VP SECURITIES A/S and Soros Fund Managament and operates on a global basis. While the basic principles in the model are unique, such as the Principle of Balance, the actual implementation will differ from country to country. The model is currently implemented in Denmark, Norway and Mexico. Studies are currently being undertaken in other countries to investigate the feasibility of introducing the model in those countries.
