Absolute Childminding

I have 17 years in childcare. My first 7 years were in two nurseries becoming Deputy Supervisor in both. Then as a nanny for the last 9 years looking after children of all ages, from a day old baby to 16 yrs. Now I have been childminding for nearly a year and am still enjoying this vocation. I have a variety of toys and games that will encourage all ages of development, from comfy floor entertainment for the young babies, push/pull along and interactive toys for the toddler, a story corner and puzzles for the tweenies, games,crafts and even Wii and Game Cube for the eldest. All activities will have the children's best interests. I follow the goals set in the EYFS the guidelines set by OFSTED- by which I have been given a GOOD rating. I liaise closely with parents to ensure the best care is given. I am a hard worker but am also a fun and outgoing person to be with. I appreciate being able to spend more time with the children I care for, helping to develop their individuality and building their characters. Working with children is so much fun and every day brings something new to be shared.
