AcademicCME is an ACCME and ANCC accredited healthcare solutions medical education company designed to impact practice behavior and thus, patient outcomes. AcademicCME leadership draws on decades of clinical experience of its staff healthcare providers in clinical practice and education which provides a unique understanding of the dynamics between healthcare team members behavior, patient care and practice based educational needs. AcademicCME’s focus is relaying the latest evidence-based research from the bench to the bedside. Its unique peer-to-peer relationship with top thought leaders and leading educational institutions allows it to keep a finger on the pulse of gaps in knowledge, competence, and performance in many therapeutic areas. The mission is to develop individualized continuing education initiatives by first assessing the needs of the healthcare providers, and then tailoring educational programming to specifically meet these needs. All work remains centered on the goal of improving patient outcomes. To best identify and address gaps, we conduct thorough needs assessments and measure members of the healthcare team knowledge and competency through high level outcomes analyses including performance improvement studies.
