De Academy for Information & Management ( de AI & M) is een academie voor informatieprofessionals in de ruime zin van het woord. Het is een spin-off van de Universiteit van Amsterdam, gestoeld op meer dan 25 jaar ervaring in ʻexecutiveʼ programmaʼs op het gebied van informatiemanagement. Onder het motto “Taking learners seriously” wil de AI & M een forum zijn voor samen leren: leren is, veel meer nog dan kennis opdoen, kennis delen. De werelden van de universiteit, de praktijk en de creatieve sector complementeren elkaar hierin. In een wereld waarin informatie rijkelijk aanwezig is, is informatiemanagement een zaak van kiezen in overvloed; de informatieprofessional is in de eerste plaats een betekenisgever.
