Boutique Travel Outfit with a Social Impact, leading arts-focused expeditions around the world in culinary arts, photography & storytelling, art & design, and outdoors adventure. Each Acanela Expedition is inspired by an artist in a third-world country. Our artists include women with families who are battling against poverty, men who have lost their jobs due to disaster or disease, or individuals who have never had the opportunity to receive a formal education. These artists have incredible talents and abilities such as cooking, designing, or painting, but lack the resources to share them with the world. Our mission is to discover these men and women, help them develop as individuals and artists, and empower them to share their talents with the world. Our unique Artisan Expeditions incorporate instructional classes from local artists, giving them a means to monetize their skill.
