ACCESS! is designed to give participants work experience, training, exposure and contacts in order to facilitate a transition from academia to industry, or to facilitate a career change. It accomplishes its goals by offering participants jobs in an area of their choice, a structured work environment, training and a network of professionals from whom they can learn best business practices. Currently, ACCESS! uses and to offer jobs for its participants. Career opportunities include: strategic planning, e-marketing, communications, public relations, media monitoring, competitive intelligence, scientific journalism, marketing, graphic designs, programming and among others.
