Accessibility For All

Accessibility for All (AforA), is a non-profit organization working to identify, address and meet the needs of marginalized communities in Canada To assist organizations in developing and implementing accessibility plans using concepts of Universal Design and Inclusion to implement obligations of all levels of government under the CRPD and the AODA. To produce and disseminate information to reduce resource inequality within and among countries and local communities. To engage government, corporate sector and NGOs in a dialogue to influence public policy and disability programming. To develop and deliver training programs to enhance the capacity of service providers with a focus on delivering culturally competent disability services. To develop models leading to increase education and employment opportunities for persons with disabilities. To recognize organizations and individuals enhancing accessibility within their communities. Our Vision: To create Accessible, Inclusive, and Sustainable Global Communities that Celebrate and embrace Human Diversity and Abilities Our Mission: A catalyst for creating local and global alliances to promote inclusion, equality, accessibility, disability rights and economic empowerment for persons with disabilities with a focus on women, youth and seniors.
