ACD USA Inc. remains part of ACD Elektronik GmbH that is included in ACD Group. ACD Group consists - besides ACD Elektronik GmbH - of ACD Systemtechnik GmbH, ACD Antriebstechnik GmbH, ACD Czech s.r.o. and ACD USA Inc. and is represented at two different locations in Germany and one in each location in the Czech Republic and the United States. ACD Elektronik GmbH in its current form was founded in 1976; ACD USA Inc. in 2016. In total, the Group employs approximately 42 people at its locations and achieved an annual turnover of about 80 million EUR in 2020. ACD is a medium-sized, family-owned business that develops and produces electronic products in the following segments:* Mobile devices for retail, logistics, industry (intralogistics) and healthcare markets.* Industrial electronics: Mobile applications and control panels.* EMS-Services and (customer-specific) development in the industry like mechanical engineering, tool building, commercial vehicles and medical engineering * Drive Engineering: Solutions for customer-optimized drives
