Acero Consulting Ltd was founded by Alan Keachie in January 2011. Alan has expertise in performance improvement, operational excellence, programme / project management, process improvement and in applying quality tools such as lean six sigma. He has broad functional experience (strategy, sales and marketing, finance, quality, operations), and has worked extensively across Europe (mainly UK, Germany, Spain), as well as in Latin America (Mexico), Asia (Hong Kong, South Korea, Cambodia) and Africa (Mozambique). Most of his experience has been obtained in financial services (banking; insurance; pensions; leasing) and manufacturing (automotive), but he has completed projects in other sectors such as equipment rental, building materials and charities (education, agriculture), as well as provided management advice to start-up software companies. His skills have been applied to achieve a variety of goals, such as: growth, productivity improvement, cost reduction, IT system implementation, compliance improvement, turnaround, business integration and outsourcing.
