ACHPER WA is the professional body for educators of Health, Physical Education (HPE). We aim to: EDUCATE - to provide quality professional learning and accessible content to encourage practice excellence. ADVOCATE - to increase understanding and awareness of the values and purposes of health and physical education. COLLABORATE - with industry and tertiary sectors to facilitate excellent health and physical education teaching and learning. ACHPER WA aims to enhance the health and well-being of every West Australian by educating, advocating, and leading professional practice in all areas of health education, physical education, sport and recreation, and outdoor recreation.
