Acid Springfield

Welcome to Acid Springfield; an experimental audio project and ongoing WIP redefining sound's role in the creative process. Based between Brooklyn & Melbourne, AS is a marriage of creative backgrounds: Ben Mackie, a sound designer and musician who has spent twenty-odd years making an absolute racket, and Erica Stevens, a Creative Director with over a decade’s experience conjuring Big Ideas. By collaborating with creatives and brands to bring audio into the initial stages of a project vs an afterthought, AS develops unconventional sonic solutions through playful experimentation, designing experiences that offer listeners a fresh awareness of their sonic surrounds, reshaping sound into a powerful tool for creative connection. Whether that’s via sonic teleportation, designing and building new technologies, finding new ways to connect to ourselves and with nature, or quite literally creating new methods of making music.
