OUR Mission : ACM is a global scientific and educational organization dedicated to advancing the art, science, engineering, and application of computing, serving both professional and public interests by fostering the open exchange of information and by promoting the highest professional and ethical standards. ACM pharos Student Chapter is belonging to the International Association for Computing Machinery across the globe. The chapter is dedicated to serve the computer science & computer engineering, its students and anyone who is thoroughly interested in any application of computing. ACM pharos Student Chapter is a collective expression from Software Engineers, Academics, and others in the field of computer science that aims with all it has in hand to parallel them, integrate their roles and widen their horizons and broaden their knowledge about what's in the field and what the forefront leading people of the field are doing it. OUR VISION : ACM pharos Student Chapter will incubate potential and talent, supporting the personalized development needs of our students to facilitate a structured path from education to employment. We provide a safe and supported space where creative talent and imagination can flourish in a caring environment. Barriers to learning are identified through a holistic and person-centered approach to unlock the potential of the individual, enabling personal growth through professional and academic development. Our core aim is for our students to enjoy lifelong sustainable careers underpinned by applied learning and a specialist, cutting-edge curriculum. Therefore, our vision is to not only be the leader in applied, industry-connected, creative arts education but to also be the leader in care and support for mental health and other traditional barriers to learning, thereby driving up the standards expected within higher and further education.
