Established in September 2004, ACME specializes in developing, manufacturing and marketing acetylenic diols additives. After 16 years’ development, ACME has become a major player in the global coating additives market. ACME’s main products include Tetramethyl decynediol, Tetramethyl dodecynediol and their ethoxylates. The unique molecular structure of acetylenic diols enables these surfactants to have multiple functions, such as being used as wetting agents or defoamers in formulations of water-based coatings, water-based inks, and water-based adhesives. All products are sold in more than 40 countries and areas under a unified brand name—SURFADOL®. SURFADOL® additives can reduce dynamic surface tension, control foam, improve pigment dispersion efficiency, and avoid surface defects caused by silicon-based and other traditional additives. ACME has established business relationship with global leading coatings companies such as Kansai Paint, Axalta Coating Systems and PPG Industries, and with top printing ink companies, including Sakata Inx, Sun Chemical and Siegwerk. ACME’s own factory, Chongqing Surfadol New Material Co, Ltd, has tons/year production capacity for Tetramethyl decynediol and 500 tons/year production capacity for Tetramethyl dodecynediol.
