The ability to identify why the hearing bones do not conduct sound in a proper way is extremely limited due to poorly translucent eardrum. At Acoustic Insight we want to solve this very problem with an easy-to-use, handheld device. Using an infrared laser, we cannot only visualize all important structures inside the middle ear in real time, but also measure the mobility of each hearing bone separately!
