ACQSYS (pronounced axis) is the largest transit asset recovery business in the United Kingdom. We focus on recovering transit equipment such as roll cages, totes, kegs, produce trays, stillages etc. and save natural resources in the process. ACQSYS was formed by Bill Howie and Graham Williams to improve asset retention for clients and to reduce the environmental impact of continually having to produce new equipment to replace lost and stolen assets. We optimise the management of transit assets to improve return on investment for retailers, manufacturers and distribution networks. Sustainability is at the heart of what we do and we achieve this by extending the life and capital performance of the assets our clients use to distribute their goods. We offer four key services as follows: 1. Recovery We investigate, trace and recover lost, stolen and abused roll cages, produce trays, totes and other transit equipment. Where necessary we will also employ covert surveillance to crack systematic abuse. Audit Suppliers who deliver to stores in their customers’ branded food trays have a habit of stockpiling trays to handle spikes in demand. We send our auditors into your suppliers’ sites and, armed with the latest system stock figures, we carry out a full reconciliation of tray stocks, allowing you to recover overstocks and charge for losses. Rental/Lease Most retailers, distributors and service companies encounter peak trading periods during the year. We have a unique model where you benefit from our success in recovering lost cages called the Rental Rebate Scheme.
