Across Culture (formerly Bridgeway Barnes and Associates) was founded in 2010 with the purpose of developing industry specific Indigenous mentors with the skills and knowledge to strengthen communities, increase retention, increase productivity and generally empower individuals for generations to come. To facilitate our mission Across Culture developed Certificate IV in Mentoring Diverse Groups (Indigenous Mentoring). Why Mentoring? Mentoring has been a part of life and the workplace since life began and since workplaces were formed. The skills and knowledge to survive and to learn were passed on from older wiser people. Mentoring is a way to manage knowledge, support diversity efforts, it is a tool for growth and development, aids staff retention and is a valuable social tool. Bridgeway Barnes and Associates evolved into Across Culture. We have become Certified Suppliers with Supply Nation, have expanded our operations to be able to work across all cultures and now have a suite of products that enhance our qualification. Our Vision is to equip individuals and organisations with the skills and knowledge for a multicultural workforce to function with a common purpose.
